‘Somebody f**king fix this mike!’ This video of an angry Arijit Singh at a concert is going viral
If you ask someone about who is the most in-demand singer in Bollywood right now, he/she would most probably have one person to name – Arijit Singh. Nearly every movie album has an Arijit Singh song (unless that movie stars a certain Mr Salman Khan), his fan following is tremendously huge, and his rock concerts are always sold out. Though he has sung quite a mix of genres of songs, Arijit is most popular for his sad, romantic songs like Tum Hi Ho from Aashiqui 2, Channa Mereya from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Agar Tum Saath Ho from Tamasha, Hamari Adhuri Kahani title track etc. The success of these songs has made Arijit a popular meme when it comes to breakup and sad songs.
However, that’s not the reason why a video of Arijit has gone viral in the last couple of days. In fact, it is his expression of another emotion – anger – that surprised Twitterati, as the singer is generally very cool-headed. This video was taken at a recent concert of his. During the middle of a performance, when he was singing Nadaan Parinde, he suddenly burst out ‘Somebody f**king fix this mike!’. Thankfully, people rushed to the stage and got it fixed, and Arijit continued his performance.
We are not sure why Arijit was sounding off-key here. Is this why he got angry with the mike? His ‘angry’ reaction had caught the fancy of quite a few Twitter users, with many asking why he attempted a song that he was not comfortable with (Nadaan Parinde was sung by Mohit Chauhan).
