Salman Khan who is presently enjoying the success of Tiger Zinda Hai said in an interview that the franchise will also have another installment.
After a lukewarm response to his last film Tubelight, Salman Khan came back with a thunder this time. Also starring Katrina Kaif, the movie has broken several records at the box office. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has already entered Rs 500 crore club and Bhai fans are storming the theatres to catch a glimpse of him even in the fourth week.
The Dabangg has revealed a good news to his fans. Salman has confirmed that the next installment will come out sooner than expected.
“Katrina has just given one Rs 300-crore film, [and] after that she is doing Thug [sic]. By the time she is done with Thug and we are done with our film [Race 3], we may plan to do Tiger around the same time. If the next part of Tiger does the same kind of business, Katrina will have three Rs 300-crore films,” Salman was quoted as saying by IBtimes.
The actor also told Bollywood Hungama, “I would love to do it. The kind of love and appreciation the characters got, definitely gives me an idea that we should push it forward. Adi (Aditya Chopra) is very excited. He always used to tell me when I saw the last shot of him walking out of the phone booth with these two kids, and Zoya smiling; I just want to see a story right out of it which moves forward from here. When your producer is happy and excited, when you as a director are charged up, and Katrina-Salman will anyways spark the magic on the camera; definitely a big possibility of Tiger 3″.
Salman Khan will be next seen in Race 3 which is third installment of Race franchise and it is being directed by Remo D’Souza. The movie also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah, Pooja Hegde in key roles and it is slated to release on 14th June, 2018.
