Game of Thrones season 8 is likely to air in 2019.
Game of Thrones is one of the most popular shows, which has fans all over the world. Its popularity is so huge that before the episodes officially aired, they were leaked online. A lot of episodes and information about the storyline of the show was leaked, and the makers suffered the dire consequences of the same.
Now that only the final season of the show is left and the excitement level of the audiences is on to a different level, the makers are trying every hook and crook to ensure that what happened with season 7 shall not repeat with season 8. So in an attempt to keep the storyline safe, the makers have planned to shoot multiple endings so that not even the cast of the show know how it all comes to an end.
HBO programming president Casey Bloys told Entertainment Weekly in a statement, “I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really knows what happens. You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”
